HC-COMM can support 15 function cards, 2 power supply card (1 redundant module) and one management card. This device just takes out the network management function from the Multi-service Access Platform to work as a management platform. It can manage all the cards inside and devices which connect to the platform at the remote side by the NM software--- HCView. All the cards finish their function separately by themsleves, the HC-COMM chassis only provide power supply and mass management. By this device, user can save much space and power supply node.

There is two types of HC-COMM, 4U high and 7U hing for different capability requirement, it supports Huachentel all series devices, such as Optical Transmission Series, Media Convertor Series, Digital Cross-connect Device Series, Interface Convertor Series, Voice and other products’ card type.
